Greenfield Once Again Sacrificing Community Interests for Political Expediency

Damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead
(Rear Admiral David G. Farragut, Battle of Mobile Bay, August 5, 1864)
Part 2

One of Greenfield’s biggest obstacles on his road to political nirvana is Assemblyman Hikind.  His activism on behalf of his constituency over his many years in public office helped Hikind build a vast network of friends and supporters in Orthodox Jewish Communities state-wide as well as in the halls of government.  During his tenure as NYC Councilman Greenfield has expended much of his political, and other, resources taking potshots at Hikind.  Many of these potshots were delivered through his pseudonym, Dov Gordon, as well as through his sycophants, Moshe Friedman and Jacob Kornbluh.

The Kings County race for District Attorney illustrates Greenfield’s obsession with Hikind, and at the expense of the Orthodox Jewish Community.
Over the past number of years Charles Hynes, the current District Attorney of Brooklyn, fumbled a number of high profile and very serious  cases, causing much pain and embarrassment to the Jewish Communities in Brooklyn. It was very little surprise that Hikind endorsed the challenger Ken Thompson in the Democrat Primary race this coming September.

A number of days later, Greenfield publicly endorsed Charles Hynes as he couldn’t suffer sharing an endorsement with Hikind but rather positioned himself as an independent “power broker”, quite divergent from the interest of his own community.  While Hynes might win the primary race in September, the Orthodox Jewish Community will not give him their votes,

Damn the community, full steam ahead
